6372 GERARD SCHUELLER ALSACE PINOT BLANC IIIKL 2014 750ml

As the third Pinot Blanc vineyard under his direction, the cuvée was named III KL (Trois K. L.), combining the lieu-dit Klostermatt with the number three. Owing to the character of the grape, this is the sharpest, driest, and most refreshingly light-footed wine in Schueller’s range. That said, it also possesses excellent aging potential, as evidenced by this bottle, which has matured for over a decade.

At the time of release, the wine was still cloudy, with pronounced notes of lemon and fresh herbs. It has since clarified and now shows a bright appearance (though some sediment remains toward the bottom of the bottle, where it becomes cloudy again).
