B002 LA FERME DE LA SANSONNIERE VdF COTEAU DU HOUET 2019 750ml

The cuvée revived with the 2019 vintage is Coteau du Houet. It was originally released under the AOC Bonnezeaux. Following the replanting of the vineyard, production as a single-vineyard wine was interrupted, and until 2018 the fruit was blended into La Lune. In 2019, it was once again bottled separately under the name Coteau du Houet.

While Bonnezeaux is typically associated with sweet wines made from botrytized grapes, Sansonnière’s Coteau du Houet is more restrained in sweetness. When the 2019 vintage was first announced, it was described as sweet; however, in reality, it is not as sweet as one might expect.

The 2019 is a pure nectar, made without the addition of SO₂. Total production was 1,107 bottles.
