This wine originates from the Grand Cru Pfersigberg vineyard. The 2012 vintage was released under the Grand Cru designation, while the 2013 and 2014 vintages were denied Grand Cru status by the INAO due to their atypical character. Bruno Schueller instead released these wines under the label “Le Verre est dans le Fruit.”

Today, it is considered one of the most iconic and celebrated wines in the natural wine world—although Bruno himself does not identify his wines as “natural.”
