Made from Chardonnay planted by Marc Soyard in 2018. The word L’Equilibriste can be translated into English as “Tightrope walker,” and indeed, the label depicts someone balancing while dancing on the edge of a razor blade. The label also states “sans sulfites ajoutés” (no sulfur added). Marc Soyard is a natural wine producer who generally uses zero or very minimal amounts of sulfur, but this L’Equilibriste is said to be the most daring cuvée with no added SO2 in his lineup.
