[B417] FREDERIC COSSARD VdF SUPER PINK CINSAULT ROSE 2023 750ml

A perennial favorite rosé. Among our customers, it’s a classic choice for beach gatherings and boat parties. The color is pale, but it's dense enough that you can feel its viscosity. It has a pleasant bitterness, reminiscent of pink grapefruit, alongside notes of peach. The sweetness of ripe fruit, which becomes especially noticeable on the back palette, blends together into a blissful finish, like a tropical cocktail. In the South of France, Cinsault is often used for rosé, but this is the most unique expression of the grape we have ever encountered.

Frédéric Cossard is a top producer in Burgundy, yet he is completely free of stubbornness or pretentiousness. If he thinks it's good, he will unhesitatingly source grapes from other regions, creating remarkable wines with incredible sensibility and technique. This is something that other producers in Burgundy rarely do.
