The 2023 vintage wines from Domaine de Chassorney each have their own highlights and are all enjoyable, but this Sous la Velle stands out as quite a masterpiece among the series.

Sous la Velle is located 380m above sea level, right next to Sous Roche. Like the other wines in this series, the fruit is rich and full-bodied, but the texture is smooth and transparent, with acidity and minerals accentuating the wine’s dimensionality and the clarity of its outlines. It is a typical excellent wine from a great vintage. Like En Carran, this one is also produced only in magnum size.
